Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)

About TLC Space
At TLC Space Ltd, we believe in helping children and young people grow, flourish, and thrive. We are a small, close-knit team of highly experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapists who deliver neurodiversity-affirming, family-centred care from our two sensory clinic spaces in Camberley, Surrey and Grayshott, Hampshire, as well as in schools and the wider community.
Our approach values connection and creativity as much as clinical skill. We believe real therapeutic change happens when children feel safe, understood, and celebrated for who they are and when families are supported as partners in the journey.
We have postgraduate expertise across a range of approaches including Ayres Sensory Integration, Kelly Mahler's Interoception Curriculum, Therapeutic Listening, and Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP).
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist who wants to make a genuine difference to children and families and who values working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
You'll work both autonomously and as part of a nurturing team, supported by regular supervision and peer collaboration. Your work will span assessment, intervention, and family coaching, across clinic and community settings.
The children and young people you support may present with a range of diagnoses, including autism, sensory processing differences, developmental coordination disorder, cerebral palsy, and other neuro-developmental or neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, holistic assessments using a range of standardised and non-standardised tools.
- Write clear, strength-based reports with practical recommendations for home, school, and community settings.
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group therapy sessions within our clinic spaces and in schools.
- Develop creative, goal-focused intervention plans in collaboration with families and children.
- Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent, supportive strategies.
- Contribute to team projects, reflective practice, and service development.
What we Offer
Salary: £38,500 – £41,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Holiday: 40 days pro rata (includes Bank Holidays and Christmas Closure)
Flexibility: Options for part-time work and flexible scheduling
Development: Regular supervision, CPD support, and access to specialist training
Socials: Team lunches, reflective practice sessions, and termly social gatherings
Location: Camberley clinic with free on-site parking
We are a small, friendly team that values wellbeing and mutual support. Work-life balance is at the heart of what we do.
Who We're Looking For
A qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist who shares our commitment to child-led, relationship-based, and neurodiversity-affirming practice.
Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Current HCPC registration and documented evidence of continuing professional development
- Significant clinical experience working with children and young people with a range of developmental, neurodiverse, and physical needs.
- Expertise in assessment and intervention, using both standardised and non-standardised tools, and translating findings into effective, child-centred intervention plans.
- Up-to-date knowledge of paediatric OT best practice, child development, neurodevelopment, and the role of OT in supporting participation in daily occupations.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, including the ability to deliver training or coaching to colleagues, parents, and school staff.
- Sound understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding, and relevant legislation and guidance for protecting children and young people.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel to clinics, schools, and community settings.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Postgraduate training or specialism in areas such as Ayres Sensory Integration, Interoception, Therapeutic Listening, CO-OP, or other advanced paediatric OT approaches.
- Experience delivering evidence-informed OT programmes to support participation, regulation, and functional outcomes for children and young people.
- Experience working across multiple settings, including clinic, school, and community environments.

TLC Space Ltd is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
As such, all employment offers are subject to:
- An enhanced DBS check (with barred list check where applicable)
