Enablement Support - Project Manager/Project Controller

12 month contract opportunity

Located in Chester

£21.00 per hour PAYE / £28.09 per hour Umbrella

Morson are working alongside our client within the Aerospace and Defence sector for a Project Management/Project Controller to work from their Chester site on a 12 month contract basis.

The role is required Monday to Friday (early finnish on a Friday)

Looking for someone with strong back managing of controling projects and PM understanding/working knowledge, has worked within a manufacturing and production site and preferable within aerospace or a similiar background (not essential but would be advantageous)

Deliverables Include:

  • Support the enablement for ramp up through implementing "new ways of working" and best practices.
  • Support to production areas within the facility on project based work.
  • Ensure EHS and Airworthiness standards are met and drive the Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP) process to identify and implement potential improvements.
  • Acting as an interface between different areas of the business.
  • Lineside support for production enabling blockers & support.
  • Liaising with facilities, maintenance dept to ensure adherence to agreed SLA's and delivery requirements.

  • Ability to work on own initiative but also working as part of a small team.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written at all levels.

  • Experience of computerised systems, Workday and SAP would be desirable. Excellent skills in the use of Google Applications.
