Safeguarding and DoLs Team manager
In this role you will lead on ensuring services are efficient and effective, with all safeguarding matters addressed thoroughly, proportionately, and timely, with a person-centred approach.

You will need an excellent knowledge of safeguarding adults and associated legalities and will be able to lead and support the team as well as providing advice and guidance to wider adult social care colleagues.

  • You will need to be a qualified social worker and a trained Best Interest Assessor; signatory training is also desirable.
  • Experience in managing teams with an in-depth and broad knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory functions and national guidance that pertain to adults, particularly safeguarding and mental capacity.
  • Experience of managing complex safeguarding arrangements, as well as experience of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working.
  • You will have experience and knowledge of the statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, specifically in relation to Safeguarding and DoLS.
  • You will also have experience of working with the Safeguarding Adult Board and partners.
