What you'll do

  • Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle to deliver goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
  • Manage loading and unloading of freight, ensuring all items are secured and accounted for.
  • Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each route.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
  • Utilize manual transmission skills when necessary for optimal vehicle control.
  • Handle refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized vehicles as required.

Basic qualifications

  • Valid commercial driving license (C) with appropriate endorsements.
  • Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles.
  • Strong understanding of route driving and navigation technique.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.25-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
