The role As part of the talent strategy, Titan Wealth Planning has established a Financial Adviser Academy – designed to attract and develop people who wish to become future financial planners within our company.
We are now looking for a person to lead and further embed this important initiative across all of our UK offices, seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head our Financial Adviser Academy. This role involves overseeing the training and development of financial advisers and paraplanners ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to clients.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable spending time out of the Kettering office 2 to 3 days a week for the first 3 to 6 months in role, to build and establish key relationships, therefore the role would be ideal for someone based out of the South of England or Midlands, who is also prepared and comfortable with National, travel to our various office locations. This will enable you to partner and engage with senior stakeholders, as well as support the development and implementation of our Academy offering and go-to-market strategy. Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the Titan Wealth Adviser Academy, including recruitment, training, and development of financial advisers and paraplanners.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the academy.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new and recently qualified financial advisers.
- Lead the selection, assessment, onboarding and transition process, ensuring focus on quality of candidates.
- Ensure advisers are up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and support to academists to enhance their professional growth, and ensure high retention levels of qualified academists
- Business Development:
- Develop strategic plans to attract new financial advisers and expand the academy
- Work alongside the existing Elite Sports Training Academy within Titan Pensions and Investments division to ensure integration into overall programme and continuity.
- Work with existing and prospective Titan Wealth commercial Partners to identify and enable career pathways into the Adviser Academy.
- Network with industry professionals to build relationships and enhance the firm's reputation.
- Work with Regional champions across the Titan Wealth Group to drive pipeline of candidates for Titan Academy
- Run regional selection events and candidate intakes across identified Regional offices.
- Build and leverage relationships with graduate and further Education establishments to facilitate Early Careers pipeline.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Implement risk management strategies to protect client assets and interests.
- Drive oversight of central T&C scheme, working with regional and central compliance managers and supervisors.
- 5 or more years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred (but not essential) Level 4 RQF Diploma in Financial Planning.
