Learning Support Assistant – Enfield – September 2025
This is a primary school in the Enfield area rated Good by Ofsted, committed to a caring, inclusive and high-aspiring education for every child. Learning Support Assistant – What the Role Involves
- Supporting teaching and learning in classrooms: assisting the teacher in whole class and small group activities
- Delivering interventions for identified pupils to help close learning gaps or support SEN needs
- Assisting with classroom management to maintain focus, engagement, and safe learning environments
- Working alongside the school's SEN provision in mainstream or resource provision settings, possibly 1:1 or small group support
Learning Support Assistant – What the School is Looking For
We are seeking proactive, compassionate and committed individuals with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous child-centred experience is valuable. You should hold a 2:1 or First-Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Learning Support Assistant – Salary and Contract Info
- £444 per week, pro rata; term-time only (General TA / SEN TA roles)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term (September–July), term-time only
- Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
