The role

I work on behalf of a fantastic secondary school based in Bridgewater  that is looking for a teacher to join the English department and lead classes across a range of key stages. The role will involve, planning & marking your own lessons, you will need to work proactively with other members of the department.

What the client is looking for

The headteacher is looking for a kind, approachable individual, who can show excellent organisational skills, be assertive, and must have at least 1 year teaching experience in England.

  • Confidence in teaching A Level and GCSE English
  • A commitment to 'getting involved' in overall school life
  • Planning and marking experience 
  • A solid understanding of the UK curriculum
