Nirvana Day Centre, 126 Station Road, West Drayton, UB7 7JS.
Working Hours

  • Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00am - 3:00pm (15 Hours)

High potential to extend hours.

About Us
Nirvana Day Centre provides a warm, inclusive, and supportive space for adults with dementia/socially isolated in need of daytime care and companionship. We are currently seeking a
reliable and compassionate
activities carer/co-ordinator.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and run a variety of activities that promote wellbeing, social interaction, and enjoyment for service users.
  • Support service users with personal care, including assistance with toileting, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Monitor and record participation, wellbeing, and progress, sharing feedback with the care team.
  • Preparation of meals ensuring nutritional needs are met.
  • Able to work with potentially challenging behaviour from our clients.
  • Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and staff.
  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Able to work the hourly requirements.
  • Previous experience with elderly or vulnerable adults (Personal Care).
  • Friendly, patient, punctual, and dependable.
  • Able to speak English and at least one of these languages; Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu.
