Pastoral Student Assistant | Barnet, HA8 | September start
Ribbons & Reeves are seeking a dedicated and motivated Pastoral Student Assistant to join a driven and ambitious school to play a key role in supporting the welfare, behaviour, and personal development of our students.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to young students lives by providing the care, guidance, and support they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Pastoral Student Assistant | Key responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day pastoral support for students
- Ensuring their wellbeing and safeguarding needs are met
- Work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, parents, and external agencies to support positive behaviour, attendance, and engagement.
- Attend to daily student problems outside of an educational background
Pastoral Student Assistant | About you:
- 2:1 or 1:1 in a relatable subject from a Top 20 UK University
- Experience working with young people in an educational work setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential
