Mold, Flintshire, United Kingdom Outwrite PR Full time £25,000 - £30,000 per year

Are you passionate about storytelling and how great PR can shape reputations, build trust, and help brands achieve their goals?

Whether you're starting to establish yourself in the world of PR or already delivering activity with confidence, this is a brilliant opportunity to join Outwrite, one of the region's most respected and modern PR agencies.

About Us
Founded in 1994, Outwrite is a multi-award-winning PR and communications agency with a reputation for delivering creative, measurable results for clients across diverse sectors including renewable energy, construction, and professional services.

We're known not only for our proactive, positive PR but also for being a go-to agency for crisis and reputation management, recognised nationally with awards such as Best Issues and Crisis Communications Campaign at the CIPR Awards.

With exciting new client wins and ambitious growth plans, we're looking for a talented communicator to join our creative and vibrant, close-knit team.

The Opportunity

As a PR & Communications Account Executive (or Senior Account Executive, depending on experience), you'll play a key role in delivering impactful campaigns across earned, owned, and shared media channels.

You'll manage day-to-day client activity and get involved in everything from content creation and media relations to social media and creative campaign planning. Your varied work will include:

  • Interviewing clients and crafting press releases, blogs, and news stories
  • Liaising with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure coverage
  • Producing social media content and visuals, and spotting engagement opportunities
  • Creating other content e.g. blog posts and other promotional materials
  • Commissioning photography, and filming and editing news-style interviews
  • Editing and resizing pictures (for traditional media and social media)
  • Supporting brainstorms and campaign idea generation
  • Obtaining third party quotes for products/services incl. advertising
  • Monitoring media and social coverage, and producing reports for clients
  • Supporting Outwrite's own marketing activity (social posts, blogs, e-newsletter, research, proposals etc.)

If you join us as a Senior Account Executive, you'll take on more autonomy and client responsibility - managing outputs for at least one client account, preparing reports, attending and leading meetings, participating in new business presentations, and mentoring junior team members.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates with a background in either PR, communications, journalism, or digital marketing - whether that's in an agency, in-house role, or newsroom environment. You'll bring:

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with a sharp eye for detail and grammar
  • A creative approach to writing and content creation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in people
  • Confidence pitching stories and ideas to journalists, and resilience
  • Great time management and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Initiative and a proactive mindset
  • Curiosity about the media landscape and a passion for where PR is heading

For the Senior Account Executive role, you'll also have:

  • Proven experience managing client accounts or campaigns
  • Strong media and influencer relationships
  • A commercially aware, strategic mindset
  • The ability to guide and support less experienced colleagues

What's in It for You

At Outwrite, we believe our people are our greatest strength. You'll be supported to develop your career in a collaborative, positive environment - with all the tools and encouragement you need to thrive. Working from our offices in Mold, you'll enjoy:

  • The chance to work with an award-winning team and amazing brands, on diverse projects
  • Supportive, friendly culture built on trust and teamwork
  • Structured career development and regular pay reviews
  • Paid CIPR membership and CPD support
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives, including a £50 annual voucher
  • Regular team socials
  • Competitive salary up to £30,000, level dependent on experience
  • Permanent, full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
