Sales Account Manager

The Role: As a Sales Account Manager you will be reporting to the Sales Director and be responsible for nurturing and developing new and existing business relationships within the interior design industry. This is a proactive role and focuses on self-initiated communication to drive customer account engagement and ultimately activity.
We are offering ultimate flexibility within this role with up to 15 hours per week at £20 per hour.
A quarterly bonus structure is also available.
It's an office-based role, located on a beautiful country estate between Shrewsbury and Telford.
About Premier Voile We are a 30-year-old family owned and managed business, well known in the design industry. Our focus on technical and design excellence has made us a trusted partner to designers and contractors alike for more than three decades, and we are now looking for a dynamic sales professional to join the team.
The Ideal Candidate: Will be astute, resourceful, confident, articulate and have a proven track record in successful B2B sales account management. Its consultative sales role and as such needs a natural sales communicator with professional maturity. We are based in the pretty rural fields of Shropshire so having a car is also a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being resourceful in finding new clients and opportunities.
- Building new and existing customer relationships to develop future sales enquiries.
- To learn the industry and understand how, where and why we fit in.
- Updating and utilising Zoho CRM on all activities.
- Collaborating with designers, contractors, procurement and property owners.
- Following up softly with potential projects in the wings.
- Provide transparency with reporting on activities, progress and feedback.
Key Requirements/Education:
- Previous B2B Sales Account managment & development experience (essential).
- Educated to degree level or equivalent (preferred.)
- Must be able to reliably commute and have a full driving licence (essential).
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Interest in interiors/ textiles/ design (an advantage).
