Graduate Mechanical Estimator (Job Ref: BV_GME-1125)

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated graduate to join our Mechanical team as a Graduate Estimator. Based at our Dunmurry office, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin or advance their career with Brookvent – an award-winning manufacturing company with over 40 years of expertise in residential ventilation system. Our product range includes high performing Glazed-In window vents and market leading Heat Recovery Ventilation systems (HRV/MVHR).

The successful candidate will receive structured training and ongoing support to develop core skills in cost estimation and technical analysis, with a focus on our mechanical ventilation product range. Essential Requirements

  • Degree in an Engineering (e.g., Energy, Building Services, Construction, Architectural, Mechanical) or a related discipline
  • Proficient in various software applications such as Microsoft suite, (excel, word & outlook) with the ability to learn industry-specific software
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative approach to working within a team
  • Self-motivated and diligent, with the ability to solve problems and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer-driven whilst demonstrating good commercial awareness

Desirable Requirements:

  • An understanding of the construction, architecture, or mechanical building services sectors, along with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings,
  • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD with ability to produce or interpret technical drawings
