Role Description
This is a hybrid volunteer role for a Social Media Manager, based in King's Lynn with flexibility for some work to be completed from home. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging content across multiple social media platforms. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling posts, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing content for engagement, and developing strategies aligned with the organization's goals. The role also involves staying up-to-date with social media trends and interacting with the online community to foster engagement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Strong Communication and Writing skills
- Experience in developing effective Content Strategies
- Ability to analyze performance data and adapt strategies accordingly
- Creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Familiarity with social media tools and platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Experience in community engagement is a plus
- A passion for football and local sports is advantageous
