Job DescriptionRole overview
FRP Advisory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrator / Senior Administrator to join our restructuring department. The candidate will have a strong background in restructuring advisory and insolvency, ideally including administrations, liquidations and bankruptcies, and investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direct supervision of more senior staff, to assist with the pro-active administration of insolvency cases, comprising ADMs, CVLs, CPLs, CVAs, IVAs and BKYs, in accordance with specific timescales
- Production of good quality reports and letters
- Completion of all statutory tasks and formalities in accordance with set deadlines. Maintaining an effective diary system in this respect
- Maximising asset realisations and ensuring recoveries are pursued in a pro-active and cost-effective way
- Monitoring, maintenance and up-dating of check lists on a weekly basis
- Taking personal responsibility to ensure that any tasks delegated by more senior staff are completed in a timely and professional manner
- Preparing accurate books and record inventories and taking responsibility for the safeguard and removal of such from companies' premises
- Monitoring of fees to ensure they are drawn regularly and in accordance with resolutions passed by creditors
- Self-development: to enhance technical knowledge and to keep abreast of industry developments/new case law
- Experience in an insolvency role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in administration or a related field are desirable but not essential
