Assistant - Retail Operations

Personal Banking department oversees debit and credit card operations, and provides back office support to the Bank's branches. As an Assistant - Retail Operations, you will responsible for delivering the debit and credit cards administrative functions, while also providing support to the branches and handling customer queries. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.

Key responsibilities

  • Be responsible for daily settlement process and credit control, account maintenance and card productions
  • Prepare regular reports for Management
  • Coordinate and respond to customer queries and requests to ensure timely resolution of issues related to payments, processed transactions, dispute inquiries, missing statements, reversals and refunds
  • Liaise with Head Office and other relevant parties to ensure smooth business operations
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to monitor market trends
  • Assist the Card Centre team to develop and implement business strategies
  • Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by Head of Department or Team lead

Requirements

  • Degree educated preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • Experience within Financial Services industry would be advantageous
  • Experience within customer services operations
  • Experience in data analysis or Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • Team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
