We're looking for a talented and experienced
Operations Analytics Manager
to join our Centralised Analytics team at Zopa. In this high-impact role, you'll lead the analytics function for our Operations department - empowering teams across Customer Services, Complaints, Fraud, and more with the data, insights and scalable reporting they need to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

This is more than just a reporting role. You'll shape how data is used to drive decision-making at scale, leading the charge on AI insight strategy in Operations — a fast-growing, well-funded area full of opportunity and visibility. You'll manage a talented team of analysts, collaborate closely with Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers, and help Zopa modernise, automate, and elevate its data capabilities.

Here's a flavour of some of the exciting projects you would be diving into...

Lead Zopa's AI Analytics Evolution
- Spearhead AI adoption in Operations using our rich text data to deliver powerful insights. Shape how AI transforms areas like customer understanding and root cause analysis.

Support the Growth of 'Biscuit'
- Provide critical MI to enable operational scaling of Zopa's new current account, supporting data-led decisions across onboarding, servicing, and more.

Modernise Reporting & MI
- Redesign and automate dashboards to reduce manual work and ensure reporting scales with business needs.

Strengthen Data Foundations
- Improve data structure and reduce technical debt through close collaboration with Engineering teams, ensuring insights are accurate and trusted.

A day in the life...

  • Translate operational problems into clear analytical solutions and deliver actionable insight.
  • Prioritise a high-impact pipeline of work balancing quick wins with long-term improvements.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering to ensure robust, scalable data foundations.
  • Build clear, impactful dashboards and MI reports using best-in-class visualisation tools.
  • Coach and lead a team of three analysts, promoting technical best practices and stakeholder engagement.
  • Partner with stakeholders across our Operations team to continually identify opportunities and use cases for transformation utilising cutting-edge technologies, such as AI.

About You...

  • Leadership & strategy - you're an inspiring and strategic analytical leader who is excited about the potential of AI to transform the analytical toolkit.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — you thrive on building relationships, understanding business needs, and communicating insights clearly and effectively.
  • Strong coding skills - a SQL expert, and Python and DBT experience an advantage - you're comfortable navigating and querying complex datasets with confidence and efficiency.
  • Experience building dashboards using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Adept at translating business problems into analytical solutions, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Skilled at prioritisation — able to balance multiple demands while focusing on the most valuable opportunities.
  • People management experience — you've successfully supported and developed analysts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communicator — you're comfortable simplifying complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Curious and impact-driven — you want your work to drive real, tangible improvements in the business.
