Job Summary

Whether you're engaging with customers at the counter or assisting behind the scenes in food prep, your positive attitude and teamwork will drive our success forward.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Prepare food items efficiently and accurately, following safety and sanitation standards to uphold food quality.
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales transactions.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales revenue through friendly suggestions.
  • Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food handling procedures meet health regulations.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks including assembling orders, stocking supplies, and managing kitchen stations.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
  • Follow all food safety protocols related to handling, storage, and sanitation to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafés.
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
  • Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling, sales totals, and inventory counts accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments effectively.
  • Experience in upselling menu items to boost sales while enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Basic kitchen experience including food prep, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Retail math skills for managing transactions, stock levels, and sales reporting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting.
