Responsibilities of the Role

  • Conduct high-level RF communication system analysis, development, integration, and testing.
  • Perform link budget analysis, RF line-up analysis, and hardware selection.
  • Lead market searches for qualified system modules, acting as the technical contact for external hardware procurement.
  • Develop and execute unit-level and system-level electrical and environmental test plans.
  • Diagnose and solve faults during setups, environmental tests, and system integration.
  • Participate actively in design reviews and initiate risk-mitigating reviews as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software, mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering with a focus on RF/Microwave Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in RF circuit/system design, development, integration, and testing.
  • Proven expertise in fault diagnosis and problem-solving during integration and testing.
  • Strong understanding of RF physics, impedance matching, filters, and isolation techniques.
  • Proficiency with relevant test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power sensors, and oscilloscopes.
  • Effective team collaboration skills within multidisciplinary environments.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in antenna design and testing.
  • Background in EMI/EMC and space qualification testing.
  • Proficiency with EM simulation tools such as CST and HFSS.
