Telios Tutors is a busy and dynamic leader of private 1 to 1 online tuition with potential students lined up daily ready to be matched to suitable tutors with a near-immediate start.
With a wide variety of students ready to take their education to the next level, we are passionate about connecting our clients with the tutor who will best suit their needs.
Unlike many other tutoring agencies, we do not focus on mass recruitment.
Rather, we actually have an abundance of quality students lined up ready with the view of matching tutors we onboard as soon as possible, subject to suitability.
Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EPQ Tutor to guide students through the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). This includes supporting students from topic selection and research design through to final submission.

Key Responsibilities:
- Guide students in selecting an appropriate EPQ topic and defining clear objectives.
- Support research methodology, project planning, and critical analysis.
- Provide structured feedback and monitor progress toward deadlines.
- Encourage independent thinking, academic writing, and time management.
- Write weekly progress reports and conduct assessments as needed.
- Adapt teaching approach to meet the individual needs and goals of each student.
Person Specification:
- Degree-level education; expertise in the student's EPQ subject preferred.
- Experience tutoring or supervising EPQs, academic writing, or research projects.
- Reliable, professional, approachable, and inspiring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment for a minimum of 1 academic year is desirable.
- Adaptable and considerate – able to modify teaching style to suit student needs.
Additional Opportunities:
