Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and providing top-notch guest services. Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Answering the phone to take orders or bookings for customers.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for resolution and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and billing as needed.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality experience required.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
  • Excellent guest service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50 per hour
