Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and service, with a strong background in culinary and restaurant operations. This role involves supporting the management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of daily operations within the restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team culture and encouraging professional development.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
  • Support financial management tasks, including budgeting and cost control measures.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required.
  • Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
