The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role for a manager to take full operational and clinical responsibility for our service. Following the resignation of our previous team lead, you will step in to lead, develop, and inspire our dedicated team of 6-8 Care management teams.
This is a unique hybrid role. We are looking for a strong clinical leader who can provide robust clinical governance, and a commercially astute operator who is passionate about expanding a premium, private-led care business. You will have the autonomy to shape the service, influence growth, and be rewarded for your scaling success.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Directly line manage, mentor, and supervise our team of 6-8 Care Coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Clinical Governance (Lead Role): Act as the clinical lead for the service. Provide expert advice on complex care packages, medication management, and clinical decision-making, ensuring all care is safe, effective, and evidence-based.
Quality & Compliance: Take full responsibility for CQC compliance, leading on audits, incident management, and continuous improvement. This role is key to maintaining and building upon our [Insert CQC Rating, e.g., 'Good'] rating.
Business Growth: Utilise your commercial awareness to drive the strategic growth of the service. You will be instrumental in expanding our private client base and scaling the business.
Operational Management: Oversee all day-to-day operations, from client assessments and care planning to staff rostering and stakeholder engagement (e.g., families, GPs, Local Authorities).
About You (The Ideal Candidate)
We are looking for a resilient, ambitious, and compassionate leader. You must have:
Desirable: An active NMC Pin (Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN).
Essential: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or actively working towards it).
Essential: A valid UK driver's licence and access to your own vehicle.
Essential: Proven experience in a management role within a CQC-regulated domiciliary care or supported living service.
Essential: A strong track record with CQC inspections and an in-depth knowledge of regulations.
Desirable: Experience in scaling a care business, particularly within the private customer market.
Excellent leadership skills and commercial awareness.
What We Offer

Salary:
A base salary with the opportunity to earn performance-related bonus (OTE £45,000).
Strong Senior Support: Full backing from a dedicated senior team to support you with finance, recruitment, and training.
Career Progression: A culture that values professional growth and rewards success.
Autonomy: The freedom to make a real impact and manage the service as your own.
