THH Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a respected national not-for-profit organisation for a Warehouse Team Member based in Batley. About the Role

As a Warehouse Team Member, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a busy distribution centre. This varied and hands-on position covers all aspects of warehouse operations — from stock handling and order preparation to online inventory management. No two days are the same

You'll work as part of a friendly, inclusive team, helping to meet performance targets while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support all areas of daily warehouse operations
  • Move stock manually or using a forklift truck (if licensed)
  • Pick, pack, sort, and dispatch goods efficiently
  • Assist with online sales processing and stock control
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
  • Contribute positively to a supportive and collaborative team culture

About You

We're looking for someone dependable, adaptable, and team-focused. You'll also have:

  • Good communication and time management skills
  • A positive attitude and openness to feedback
  • Willingness to work flexibly to meet business needs
  • Ability to manage workload and priorities effectively
  • A basic understanding of Health & Safety standards
  • Basic IT skills

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or e-commerce environment

*This is currently for 4 weeks but could last longer if you are the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time
