We're looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Nursing team at The Princess Grace Hospital, currently rated "Good" by the CQC.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical assistance to the nursing and medical teams. The successful candidate will participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain the agreed standards of care.

Further assisting with both patient and non-patient manual handling, cleaning duties and waste disposal, re-stocking, Phlebotomy & Neuro Gastro

In this role, you'll help keep our clinical areas running smoothly by ensuring treatment rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked. You'll support our medical team by chaperoning, assisting with procedures, and carrying out basic observations and treatments, always prioritizing patient comfort and dignity. You'll also handle specimen labeling, maintain accurate records, and report any concerns promptly.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Care certificate
  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in Hospital Setting
  • Phlebotomy
  • Experience of working with members of the public
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English verbally and written
