The Company

Loom Talent have been exclusively engaged in search for an experienced Warehouse Project Manager to work for a well established European 3PL Contract Logistics provider. This is a business-critical role, working in a dynamic and ambitious 3PL provider.

Our client are a Warehouse biased, European 3PL player with over 20+ UK sites and a strong client base with financial group stability.

This position is a hybrid role split across UK sites, your closest DC and working from home. Candidates will be required to travel weekly across Midlands & East Anglia area.

The ideal candidate could live in the Northampton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge or Bedford areas.

The Role

Responsible for the planning, execution, and successful completion of ranging projects across their UK network consisting of current, and future sites.

The Warehouse Project Manager role involves working with key internal & external stakeholders, clients, and the global business to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client or internal stakeholder requirements.

  • Plan and develop projects in line with client or internal stakeholder expectations.
  • Create detailed project plans to guide clients and team members.
  • Identify and allocate project tasks based on team member's skills, experience, and strengths.
  • Direct and oversee the successful completion of implementations and projects.
  • Develop actionable plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and work plans.
  • Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery and alignment with the business case.
  • Compile and submit project status reports to clients, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders to ensure efficient project implementation.
  • Build strong leadership and customer relationships.
  • Maintain clear communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Work closely with customers and sites to fully understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans.
  • Manage contributions from various stakeholders.
  • Commutable to the East Midlands & East Anglia area 3 days per week, with UK wide travel also expected.

The Candidate

The successful candidate for the Warehouse Project Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:

  • A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background -
    Essential.
  • 3+ Years Project Management experience in a 3PL environment -
    Highly Advantageous.
  • Proven track record of delivering multiple complex projects -
    Essential.
  • Extensive knowledge of Warehouse operations -
    Essential.
  • Expertise in process improvement, with Six Sigma / Kaizen knowledge -
    Essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills -
    Essential.
  • Technical background with the ability to confidently present technical issues and solutions to customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong technical writing skills -
    Essential.
  • Valid UK driving licence -
    Essential.
  • Commutable across the East Midlands and East Anglia area, with the ability to stay away for c. 3 days per week to suit business needs -
    Essential.
  • The ideal candidate could live in the Northampton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge or Bedford areas.
