Our Team
You will be working on contentious matters as part of a highly respected international team which we believe really stands out from the rest of the market, with an established footprint in London, Singapore, Australia, the Middle East, Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.
We specialise in international commodity trading and shipping, and international commercial arbitration and litigation. The team in London is a dynamic, growing team of specialists. With a string of recent successes and promotions, we are seeking a team member to join and work with us to continue to grow the practice.
Our Opportunity
You will have the opportunity to get involved in a varied workload with plenty of scope for direct client contact. The role will suit an intellectually curious lawyer with a commercial attitude, and a confident, proactive approach. You would be joining a close-knit team who place a strong emphasis on personal skills development and growth.
You
You will be a qualified solicitor under the laws of England and Wales (between 3 and 5 years' PQE), with experience of working on commodities and shipping contentious matters. Experience in litigation and arbitration matters outside of these areas is also valued, but should be in combination with a background in commodities and shipping.
You will need outstanding academic credentials, effective matter management, and excellent drafting skills. We're looking for an ambitious, self-motivated individual with both the desire and the ability to deliver high-quality work for our clients. Additional language skills would be a real plus in this role.
