The Role:
As a
Senior Business Development Manager
, you'll support with national business growth, focusing on new business across ocean freight. You'll engage with importers and exporters handling containers annually - typically in sectors such as consumer goods, electronics, garments, and white goods.
Working closely with senior leadership, you'll identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and deliver end-to-end logistics solutions. This hybrid role combines working from home, field-based client meetings, and 1-2 days per week in the office in
Warrington
. You'll enjoy a high level of autonomy and the chance to make an immediate impact within a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in ocean freight sales (air freight experience also considered)
* Proven success in winning and developing new business (100% new business focus)
* Strong commercial acumen and understanding of international freight markets
* Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders
* Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working independently and making key decisions
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
The Package:
* £60,000-£80,000 annual salary, depending on experience
* £14,000 + additional commission
* Car Allowance £6000 pa
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
* Hybrid working (home, office, and field)
* Laptop and mobile phone provided
