About the Role
We are looking for an organised, compassionate, and proactive Care Coordinator
to join our team at
All About Home Care
. This is a pivotal role that ensures our clients receive the highest quality care through effective scheduling, communication, and team collaboration.
As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and scheduling weekly client visits within a defined geographical area
- Creating tailored rotas that match client needs and carer availability
- Setting up and templating new care packages from assessment to onboarding
- Responding promptly to schedule changes and ensuring smooth communication with carers and clients
- Building strong, professional relationships with clients, families, and team members
- Supporting the Registered Care Manager to maintain staffing levels and meet care demands
- Assisting with recruitment and general administrative tasks
- Providing contingency care cover where required
- Participating in the paid on-call rotation
About You
We're seeking someone who is both people-focused and detail-oriented — a team player with a passion for delivering excellent care.
You'll bring:
- Previous scheduling experience in home care or a similar environment (
essential
) - Level 2 NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent (
preferred
) - Experience using Birdie software (
preferred
) - Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new systems quickly (
essential
) - Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- A positive, resilient attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Genuine empathy and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and compliance
