Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for excellent customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of food and beverage service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of food safety, and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reputation of our venue through exceptional service delivery and team management.

Duties

  • Oversee the daily front-of-house operations, including reservations, seating arrangements, and guest relations
  • Supervise and motivate front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring team cohesion and high performance
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and timely service
  • Manage customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to uphold guest satisfaction
  • Implement training programmes related to food safety, serving standards, and hospitality best practices
  • Monitor cleanliness and presentation standards across the venue
  • Assist in organising special events or functions as required
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Support in the recruitment process by participating in interviews and staff onboarding

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
  • Experience in team management with strong leadership qualities
  • Background in restaurant or hotel operations is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen experience is advantageous
  • Previous roles involving serving, hospitality, or barista experience will be considered beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
