We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and conscientious Commercial Vehicle Technician to join the MMA team.

The main function will be to undertake maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicle/trailers of all types, to diagnose faults, carry out tests on vehicle and complete permanent and thorough repairs.

You should have strong mechanical knowledge and experience of Euro 6 trucks.

Work Pattern:

Monday - Friday (Saturday also available).

Duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) trucks.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

  • Weld and fabricate parts as needed.

  • Conduct heavy lifting and manoeuvring of vehicle components.

  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts and systems.

  • Use power tools and equipment to complete repairs and installations.

  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Skills:

  • Ability to weld and fabricate parts.

  • proficient in soldering electrical components.

  • Familiarity with power tolls and equipment used in vehicle repair.

  • Knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues and add-blue.

  • excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
