The shift pattern for this post is on call.

These vacancies exist between 4th Feb 2026 and 4th Aug 2026 throughout the West of Scotland and will be based within training hospitals in the WOS school of anaesthesia. The posts hold educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and will be appointed as LATs.

To practice medicine in the UK you need to holf both GMC registration and a licence to practice.

JOB DESCRIPTION, JOB PLAN &PERSON SPECIFICATION

LAT posts are suitable for anaesthetic trainees who need to complete stage1, or start stage 2, clinical experience under the auspices of the RCOA 2021 curriculum.

A minimum of 6mths of UK equivalent stage 1 experience is usually essential.

Posts are competitive and priority is given to those who can evidence good training progression.
