Generator Power is the UK's largest and privately owned generator rental company having enjoyed over 26 years of supply in the industry. Generator Power has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is undergoing further expansion providing an excellent opportunity for two Major Repair Engineers to join our team at our Normanton Depot.

Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week, 8:00AM - 17:00PM

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Major repair of hire fleet and ancillaries;
  • Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers equipment;
  • Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers equipment;
  • Installation and disconnection of equipment on site;
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles;
  • Depending on work load you may be required to work at or from our other depot locations.
  • Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy;
  • Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure;
  • Promote teamwork and co-operation at all times, both within individual depots and right across the entire Generator Power Group of Companies;
  • Treat all other employees and all our customers professionally and with respect

Qualifications/Skills required:

  • Experience on generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering (or similar)
  • Experience of engine re-builds
  • Any Plant/Mechanical engineering qualifications
