Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable & licenced Forklift Operator to join our Bar Stock team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and clamp trucks, to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires strong knowledge of stock operations, materials handling, and safety protocols to ensure smooth shipping and receiving processes. Prior experience in stock distribution, order picking, and stock management systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts, counter balancers, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load and unload goods
  • Handle materials with precision, including stacking pallets and organizing inventory in designated areas
  • Assist with the movement of products throughout the festival using appropriate equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment
  • Support stock supervision with inventory management and process improvements
  • Assist in construction or materials handling tasks as needed within the facility
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines

Skills

  • Proven experience in stock distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
  • Proficiency with forklift operation, including order picker, clamp truck, and heavy equipment handling
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards for material handling and equipment operation
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking
  • Mechanical aptitude for understanding equipment functions and performing minor repairs if necessary
  • Excellent attention to detail for order picking, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.85 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
