 Contract Type: 22.5 hours per week (set days: Monday, Tuesday, and either Wednesday or Thursday)

 Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 pro rata

At InHealth, we're looking for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our breast screening team. You'll play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their journey, working alongside experienced clinicians in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

Supporting women undergoing breast assessments with professionalism and care

Acting as a patient advocate, ensuring dignity and privacy at all times

Assisting clinicians before, during, and after procedures

Providing reassurance and post-procedure support to patients

Preparing and maintaining clinical equipment

Keeping accurate records while upholding confidentiality standards

Ensuring a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety policies

What we're looking for:

A caring, professional, and empathetic approach to patient care

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience in a healthcare setting

The ability to support patients in distress with sensitivity

Basic IT skills and an understanding of data protection

An interest in women's health

Desirable but not essential:

Knowledge of the NHS Breast Screening Programme

NVQ qualification (or willingness to undertake)

Understanding of health promotion
