We are looking for Sales Consultants to join our growing and dynamic team, at our Clacton-On- Sea site.
Who are we?
EDF Heat Pumps (CB Heating Ltd) is part of the EDF group and is one of the most respected names within the renewables sector. We are an established heat pump business with over 20 years of experience and significant revenue growth over the past 2 years, hence we require new roles to support future expansion plans on a national scale following our partnership with EDF- one of the UK's largest energy suppliers.
About the role:
- Job title: Sales Consultant
- Employment type: Full time, Permanent.
- Working hours: Mo- Fri 9:00-19:00, Saturdays 9:00 to 13:00 (Various shifts- 40 h/w)
- Salary band: £25,500 basic/ annum+ sales commission
- Location: On site, EDF Heat Pumps, Clacton on Sea
Key responsibilities will include:
You will be conveying to homeowners the benefits of future proofing their homes, with an Air Source Heat Pump as part of the government's plan to move the UK away from fossil fuels and become less reliant on gas. You will be managing a book of customers from the point of enquiry to sale, ensuring smooth and effective communication throughout, while keeping the CRM system up to date. Knowledge of heat pumps is a benefit, but not essential as full training will be given as well as ongoing support and development.
- You will be given qualified leads daily.
- Actively close sales to meet and exceed targets.
- Always providing customers with the best customer service.
- Conduct consultations to assess customers' heating needs, explain the benefits of an air source heat pump and answer any technical questions the customer may have.
- Effectively Identifying and selling the correct solutions for customer.
- Prepare and pitch detailed proposals and quotes based on customer requirements, ensuring clarity on system specifications and cost.
- Work with the operational teams to ensure the installation is planned and is delivered.
- Thoroughly managing your diary and CRM.
- Achieve and exceed monthly key performance indicators.
- Uphold company core values and encourage a team culture.
About you:
- You will have at least 2 years of experience in sales.
- Experience in Renewables a plus, but not necessary
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Computer Literate
- You will have the ability to handle rejection, setbacks, and a demanding workload while maintaining a positive and persistent drive to achieve goals.
- A strong internal motivation to meet and exceed sales targets
- Building trust is paramount in sales, and ethical behaviour is a foundational requirement for long-term success.
