Technical Product Manager

We're seeking a Technical Product Manager with experience in payments to join our crew and lead product development for our client's technology program. This role is crucial for driving the strategy and execution of new features and improvements to support the company's goals. We are looking for someone who has strong initiative and self-motivation to add value, while being comfortable working with ambiguity and leading a team to build world-class products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own, define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions.
- Oversee detailed product specifications, backlogs and delivery of features that enable us to maximise-value
- Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure successful and timely product launches.
- Build core features that monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders and senior management.
- Foster a culture of innovation and customer-centricity within the product team.
- You have launched and scaled products within the Retail sector with quantifiable value.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are able to form a vision and communicate this effectively with the engineering and senior client teams.
- You are hands-on, have strong project management skills in which you take full ownership and control to get projects done in time.
- Applying an analytical and technical mindset, industry knowledge and UX approach to creating best user experiences and propositions.
- Know how to manage a project portfolio and you are able to create, manage, motivate, and hold accountable cross-functional teams for product development.
- Working with banks and regulated products and integrating services through APIs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to communicate and gain buy-in and adoption for your ideas.
- Proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to launch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with market research and data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern tech stacks.
- Ideally the candidate should have technical background or at minimum the ability to understand and communicate all aspects of technology related to products and services.
