Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of clinical practice. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with a wide range of health conditions, including complex cases.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans, ensuring evidence-based practice and patient-centred approaches.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice, adhering to relevant guidelines and protocols.
  • Provide expert advice and support to junior staff, students, and colleagues across various disciplines.
  • Lead on clinical audits, service improvement initiatives, and contribute to policy development.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in line with legal and organisational standards.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and training sessions to promote integrated care delivery.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in clinical practice and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Registered healthcare professional with valid registration with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
  • Demonstrable experience working at an advanced level within a clinical setting.
  • Postgraduate qualification in advanced practice or equivalent (e.g., MSc in Advanced Practice).
  • Proven ability to conduct complex assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of current healthcare policies, legal frameworks, and ethical considerations relevant to advanced clinical practice.
  • Desirable: Additional training or certification relevant to specialised areas such as minor illness management or mental health support.
