The Role:

As a Business Development Director, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the company's global expansion strategy. This is a new and highly visible commercial position, created to accelerate growth across Europe and other key international markets.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll take ownership of identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities across the automotive sector. You'll be instrumental in expanding the reach of the company's product suite, establishing strategic relationships, and negotiating profitable agreements that drive long-term recurring revenue.

You'll have both strategic influence and day-to-day responsibility for delivery, from pipeline development to deal execution. Success in this role will be measured by tangible growth in international revenue, partner engagement, and market footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute international sales and partnership strategy.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline across Europe and selected global markets.
  • Lead compelling sales conversations, demos, and commercial negotiations at C-suite and senior management level.
  • Identify and onboard new partners to accelerate market penetration.
  • Drive deals from first contact through to signed agreement, ensuring smooth handover for implementation.
  • Consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales and revenue targets.

The Person:

We're looking for a driven sales hunter who thrives on building something new. You'll bring a strong track record of selling high ticket deals within the automotive sector and have the confidence and credibility to engage at board level.

You'll combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, proactive approach to winning business. Your ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments, influence decisions, and close deals will set you apart.
