Partner Financial is working with a fast-growing international technology business headquartered in London. The company is entering an exciting phase of expansion, driven by strong market demand and a clear strategic focus on scaling its products and platforms across global markets. With innovation, data, and user-centric solutions at the core of its model, the business is continuing to strengthen its financial operations to support sustained growth.
The successful candidate will join the group finance function as a Group Finance Manager, working closely with the Group Financial Controller and Group CFO, to deliver high-quality financial reporting and insight, as well as driving through improvements to all financial processes, using new technologies and improved working practices. They will play a key role in the preparation, review, and analysis of group financial results, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance within a fast-paced environment. The role requires a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented individual who can identify issues early, drive improvements, and support the continued development of the business and its operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing timely monthly Group consolidations and ensuring adherence to Group accounting policies.
- Managing intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes, and consolidation adjustments.
- Preparing annual consolidated financial statements for the Group, as well as statutory accounts for subsidiaries, in compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP.
- Taking full ownership of the year-end audit process in 2026, including coordinating deliverables, managing auditor requests, and ensuring timely completion.
- Preparing and delivering financial information required by debt providers and the PE firm, including covenant reporting and forward-looking analysis.
- Maintaining and enhancing Group accounting policies to ensure consistent and accurate application across all jurisdictions globally.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting obligations (e.g., Companies House, HMRC, UK GAAP).
- Driving continuous improvement across consolidation, reporting, and month-end processes to improve quality, efficiency, and reduce close timelines.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with the wider finance teams.
The Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and a strong technical understanding.
- Experience working within a Group finance function involving consolidations, intercompany processes, and audit preparation.
- Some experience of SOX principles would be helpful.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to dive into detail while maintaining a clear understanding of the bigger picture.
- Proficient with finance systems and evidenced improvement of automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels across the business.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines.
