Bollywood Quiz/Karaoke/Music Hostess

Overview

Should be very comfortable with hosting Pub Quiz, Karaoke, Live Music Events, Open Mics and knowledge of Bollywood along with experience of Singing is a plus.

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout their visit. Responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival with a courteous and welcoming demeanour
• Managing reservations and waiting lists efficiently using our booking system
• Assisting guests with seating arrangements and providing menus
• Answering phone calls with professional phone etiquette and handling enquiries promptly
• Coordinating with the service team to ensure smooth table turnover and guest flow
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
• Addressing guest queries or concerns politely and effectively, escalating issues when necessary
• Supporting other front-of-house duties as required to enhance guest experience

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on friendly customer interaction
• Knowledge of guest services and serving procedures is advantageous
• Experience in hotel or hospitality sectors can be beneficial
• Excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• A positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
