Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. Duties

  • Assist with meal preparation and food assembly, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
  • Support the kitchen team in cooking, plating, and presentation of meals
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitising work surfaces
  • Follow food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
  • Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately
  • Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as required
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods is advantageous
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices is desirable
  • Experience in food preparation, kitchen organisation, or serving roles will be highly regarded
  • A genuine interest in culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are essential
