Summary

As Senior Performance Marketing Manager at Jagex, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth across our portfolio of games, from RuneScape to our newest IP, RuneScape: Dragonwilds. You'll lead digital marketing strategy across paid media, influencer marketing, and geo-expansion, ensuring our campaigns reach the right players, in the right regions, with the right message.

You'll work closely with our Partnerships, Social, and Product Marketing teams to build impactful campaigns that drive both player engagement and measurable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on RuneScape: Dragonwilds marketing strategy from early access through to full launch. Plan, execute, and manage paid campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Own branding and strategic beat campaign strategy across all Jagex titles, ensuring consistency with overall marketing and creative strategy.
  • Build detailed audience segments and customised targeting strategies to enhance user acquisition and re-engagement performance.
  • Lead the paid influencer marketing strategy, collaborating closely with the Community team to align organic and paid strategy
  • Oversee budget management, optimizing media spend across channels to meet revenue targets and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Define and implement geo-expansion strategies, identifying new markets and scaling performance in key regions.
  • Lead testing and optimisation, managing A/B tests for creative and landing pages to drive higher conversion rates and engagement.
  • Shape our social growth strategy with our Community team.
  • Collaborate with our Partnership & Merchandising team on marketing campaigns.
  • Utilise data from attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer, Singular, Gamesight, and Google Analytics to drive continual improvements in campaign strategy.
  • Report on campaign performance, turning insights into actionable recommendations for both marketing and executive stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing with proven success in gaming.
  • Hands-on experience with major ad platforms and marketing channels including Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and DSPs.
  • Experience designing and executing influencer marketing campaigns that drive measurable performance, engagement and brand awareness.
  • Results focused, with demonstratable success of driving product growth at scale through paid media campaigns.
  • Proficiency with attribution tools such as AppsFlyer, Singular, Gamesight, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Sharp focus on ROI and efficiency, with experience optimising campaigns against departmental and business KPIs.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across teams on both technical and creative projects.
  • Highly adaptable, thriving in a rapidly evolving digital marketing landscape.
  • A pragmatic growth mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve, experiment, and overcome challenges.
  • Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, metrics-based environment with autonomy and accountability.
