Karntek Ltd, a premier fire safety consultancy located in Stafford, is seeking an IT Administrator to join our forward-thinking team. This position offers an opportunity for a motivated individual to oversee and enhance our IT operations, providing crucial support to ensure the effective use of technology throughout the organization.

The IT Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our IT systems and network infrastructure. Your expertise will help us provide top-notch service to our clients while ensuring that our internal processes remain efficient and secure.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they become problems
  • Provide technical support and training to staff regarding hardware and software
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, network systems, and applications
  • Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Assist in IT projects to improve infrastructure and implement new technologies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of IT best practices, systems, and applications
  • Experience with network administration and cybersecurity practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and a variety of software and hardware systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

  • Base Salary £ £26,000 - £28,000 DOE
  • 25 days holiday
  • On site parking
  • Full time role but part time hours may be available for the right candidate
