Edinburgh EH SP, United Kingdom CC Nurseries Full time £35,000 - £50,000 per year

Senior Nursery Manager – The Murrayfield Day Nursery the CC Nurseries Centre of Excellence for Scotland

At the Murrayfield Nursery, we believe great leadership isn't just about running a nursery, it is about shaping a place where tiny humans thrive, teams sparkle, and every day feels meaningful. And right now, we're searching for a Senior Nursery Manager who's ready to bring equal parts passion, purpose, and playfulness to our Edinburgh centre of excellence.

If you're an experienced leader dreaming about your next big Early Years adventure, this is your moment. You're at the top of your game and know your practice, you shout about your team's successes, and you're excited by the challenge of crafting an environment where children don't just grow - they flourish. If you're ready to turn your vision into reality, inspire your team with warmth (and possibly cakes and caffeine), and lead a nursery where curiosity and joy burst out of every corner, then our lovely nursery might just be the perfect place to write the next chapter of your story.

We're looking for a true childcare enthusiast - someone who sees potential everywhere (yes, even in glitter-covered socks, suspiciously sticky handprints, and half-finished "masterpieces"). If we are describing you, hit apply - You might be exactly who we're looking for.

What Makes This Role Special?

You won't just manage the nursery… you'll be the pulsing heartbeat of The Murrayfield Nursery, championing a culture where children feel confident, families feel supported, and your team feels like the superheroes they truly are.

Why you will love being a part of CC Nurseries:

· 30 days holiday (including bank holidays and Christmas closure)

· Access to our team engagement platform – connecting you daily with everyone in the group from your peers to our CEO

· Employee Assistance Programme for everyday wellbeing & Sovereign Healthcare Programme – WE WANT TO LOOK AFTER YOU

· Paid training bonuses – earn £10 for every non-mandatory course completed

· High street discounts (because coffee breaks are essential)

· At least 60% childcare discount for our team members

· Flexible working patterns to fit around your life – we want to look after you

· Recognition and rewards to celebrate the success of our team

· Opportunities for further qualifications and career development across our growing group

What You will Bring to our team:

· A love for Early Years that shows up in everything you do

· Confident leadership, with experience managing or leading within a nursery

· A strong understanding of early years frameworks, what "excellent" really looks like and the desire to partner with and gain support from the Care Inspectorate

· An ability to inspire teams and nurture positive, high-energy culture

· A knack for making families feel welcomed, informed, and supported

· The flexibility, calm, and humour that makes nursery life flow
