Support Worker – Providing Respite and Practical Help For Carers
Do you want to make a difference to someone's day – not just the person receiving the care, but the person providing it too?
At Enrych we are looking for kind, dependable people to join our team of Support Workers. This role focuses on supporting unpaid carers – the family members, friends or neighbours who care for a loved one every day, often without a break.
Your support helps give them time to rest, recharge, or manage their own needs – while ensuring their loved one is in safe, trusted hands.
What the role involves:
As a Support Worker, you'll:
Provide respite for unpaid carers by spending time with the person they support
Help with light household tasks, such as making a meal, tiding or running errands
Offering companionship and practical support in the home
Provide a reassuring presence to both the carer and the person receiving support
Enable carers to take a much-needed break – confident their loved one is safe
This is a varied, flexible role where no two days are the same. You'll work with individuals and families in their own homes and local community.
What we are looking for:
We're not asking for formal qualifications – we're looking for people who are:
Compassionate, reliable and respectful
Good at building trust and relationships
Practical and comfortable working in people's homes
Calm, patient and supportive
Able to work independently
A car driver (preferred but not essential)
Whether you're looking for a meaningful new role, a part-time job or something to fit around your life – we would love to hear from you
What you will get in return:
A rewarding role that truly helps others
Flexible hours and local work
Full training and ongoing support
A supportive and friendly team
