About our client
We are working with one of the leading technology investors in Europe. From their most recent ~ 3bn fund, they invest in B2B SaaS across Europe through both minority and majority tickets.

The fund are looking for a Nordic-speaking Senior Associate to join the investment team in London to help drive coverage across the Nordics although your focus will span the whole of Europe.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join a highly impressive team, and fund, and have a high degree of autonomy in your role.

What the job involves

  • Deal sourcing: you will play a key role in sourcing investments which will include identifying target markets and companies and ultimately speaking and meeting with target company CEOs
  • Investment diligence: for both sourced opportunities as well as those that are sourced from elsewhere in the fund, you will be part of the team that evaluates and forms an investment recommendation. Typically this will include market and competitive diligence, financial and returns modeling, technical, operational and business model evaluation, and ultimately compiling the full diligence into a complete internal investment memo
  • Portfolio management: you will be asked to help in portfolio related activities and projects including financial and KPI performance monitoring, assessing potential acquisition targets, and forecast and budget modeling

Who we are looking for

  • Full-time software investment experience from PE or growth equity is essential
  • Additional work experience from investment banking or consultancy is highly desirable
  • Fluency in a Nordic language is imperative
  • Demonstrable interest in technology
  • A natural networker with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • A degree from a leading academic institution
