Massage Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for promoting relaxation and physical well-being through expert massage techniques. Duties

• Perform customised massage therapy sessions based on client requirements and preferences
• Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their specific needs before treatment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients throughout each session
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress
• Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up therapies or exercises
• Uphold professional standards of conduct and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times

Qualifications

• Applicants should be in a position to offer a selection of massage techniques including some or all of the below:-
• Aromatherapy Massage
• Hot Stones Massage
• Therapeutic Massage techniques
• Deep Tissues Massage
• Sports Massage
• Indian Head Massage
• Standard Swedish Full Body Massage
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• A potential knowledge of facials and facial massage may be required.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to clients' needs
• Proven ability to provide relaxing, therapeutic massage treatments
• Organised with good time management skills to handle appointments effectively
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity
• Previous experience in a similar setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if necessary

Pay will be based on the skill and experience of the applicant.

Hours will be part time but may be increased.

Pay: £12.21-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
