We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of an Early Years Practitioner within our Children's Centres team. Currently, we are seeking to recruit a full-time candidate to join our children's centre Team. This permanent position.

Our Children's Centres in Redbridge serve as the focal point of contact for children under 5 years old (up to 8 years old for children with special educational needs and disabilities) and their families. These centres offer a wide range of services, including early education and childcare, healthcare, advice and support during difficult times, training, and volunteering opportunities.

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. As an experienced and passionate practitioner with excellent communication skills, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to working collaboratively with children, families, and other agencies. Your role will involve working as part of a dynamic team of Children's Centres.

We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses strong IT skills, demonstrates exceptional organisational abilities, and has the capacity to effectively prioritise and manage a busy and diverse workload.

To Be Considered For This Position, We Are Looking For Someone Who Holds a Qualification In Childcare At NVQ Level 3 Or An Equivalent Credential In a Relevant Field. The Right Candidate Should Exhibit The Following Qualities And Be Capable Of Performing The Following Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the fulfilment of the Children's Centre's core service offer in Redbridge, ensuring the achievement of Development Matters outcomes and objectives in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and Redbridge Council's key strategies and action plans related to Early Years (birth to five).
  • Collaborate with the Redbridge Children's Centres team to develop and deliver high-quality services for children and families, with the aim of enhancing outcomes for all children.
  • Facilitate groups for families with children under 5 years old
  • Identify the needs of children and their families and provide support through a group intervention model that addresses the identified needs.
  • Offer advice and guidance to service users on parenting, home learning, and other relevant topics.
