The role

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented Trading Operations Analysts to join our team and help us build and maintain Trading Operations processes, ensuring that operations around trading are run effectively and efficiently to deliver a seamless customer experience.

What you'll do
  • Execute and perform key daily Clearing and Settlement processes

  • Accurately book trades with custodians and monitor settlement cycles

  • Perform comprehensive trade, stock and cash reconciliations

  • Identify, investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks in a timely manner

  • Manage broker and custodian enquiries efficiently and professionally

  • Collaborate with the Product team to streamline operational processes within Clearing and Settlements

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and control frameworks

  • Work towards becoming the internal subject matter expert for complex operational and settlement queries in collaboration with Corporate Actions and Trading teams

  • Monitor internal systems to optimise operational efficiency and address any potential disruptions promptly

  • Contribute to business development projects under the guidance of senior team members

What you need to have
  • Recently completed an Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field

  • Great problem-solving skills to find smart and practical solutions

  • Experience with process design and process management

  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have
  • Experience with Trading and Instruments management

  • Knowledge of SQL or Python
