Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a background in administrative support. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of projects by providing comprehensive administrative assistance, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to project managers and teams, ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage data entry tasks, maintaining organised records and files for easy access.
- Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Handle phone communications with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in financial tracking using QuickBooks, ensuring all expenses are recorded accurately.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes to ensure effective communication within the team.
- Support the organisation of project schedules and timelines to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Perform clerical tasks such as typing correspondence, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
Requirements
- Proven office experience with a strong emphasis on administrative duties.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Demonstrated clerical experience in a professional setting.
